What is HQ?
HQ is a mobile app designed to help families stay organised. Whether it's keeping track of what you need from the shops, managing household budgets, remembering birthdays, or coordinating tasks, HQ brings it all together in one simple app that everyone in your family can share.
Features
Shopping Lists
Create shared shopping lists that your whole family can see and update. Track what's in your pantry, set minimum stock levels, and let HQ automatically build your shopping list when items run low. Swipe to add items to your cart as you shop.
Budgets
Set up household budgets with custom periods. Track expenses, see how much you've spent vs your limit, and get notified when you're approaching your budget threshold. View activity logs to see where the money goes.
Tasks
Create and assign household tasks with deadlines, notes, and subtasks. Track progress across four statuses: active, on hold, completed, and cancelled. Everyone in the family can see what needs doing.
Birthdays
Never forget a birthday again. Add family and friends' birthdays and see an upcoming list sorted by who's next. HQ shows you how many days until each birthday and calculates their age automatically.
How It Works
One family member creates a group and shares an invite code. Everyone else joins with that code and you're connected. All your shopping lists, budgets, tasks, and birthdays are shared within the group and sync instantly.
Push Notifications
Get notified when it matters: shopping reminders on your schedule, budget alerts when spending is high, task assignments, and group activity updates. You control exactly which notifications you receive.
Multiple Groups
Managing more than one household? Create separate groups for different homes, share houses, or family units. Switch between groups with a tap.
